Greece - Funding period 1994-1998

Allocations covered fourteen projects related to the rehabilitation and conservation of Greek monasteries, as well as a large-scale marine monitoring project aimed at pollution reduction.

The EEA Agreement - which forms the basis for the EEA and Norway Grants - enterend into force in January 1994. The 1994-1998 period therefore represents the Grants' very first contribution towards the reduction of economic and social disparities in Greece.
