The puropose of the Coastal Clean-Up Day is to engage citizens around the world to remove trash and marine litter from beaches and preventing it from ending up in the oceans. We need to prevent litter from ending up in #OurOcean. Plastic is not fantastic.
Our future depends on clean and healthy ocean.
The oceans are under threat from the effects of climate change, pollution, plastic waste, loss of biodiversity, and unsustainable use of marine resources. It is therefore vital that we work to combat these threats and ensure healthy and productive oceans. Read more here
