I år er det 50 år siden ambassaden i Singapore ble etablert. Et norsk-svensk konsulat var blitt satt opp i Singapore i 1851, etterfulgt av et norsk konsulat i 1906, men den store dagen for en fullverdig ambassade i Singapore var 7. mars 1969.
