To schedule an appointment for legalisation or notarial services, please email us at consular.cairo@mfa.no. These services are offered only on Tuesdays.

You must book an appointment in advance. You can book appointments two months in advance. We only accept appointments for the above-mentioned services on Wednesdays during opening hours, from 09:00 to 15:00, and note that we do not respond to such inquiries over the phone. If you have any questions, you must send an email to consular.cairo@mfa.no. The embassy normally responds within seven (7) business days. We request a single email thread be used in communication with the embassy.
To get started with the booking system, create a user account with your email address and then log in to book an appointment. Remember to confirm your email address.
Once logged in, choose the type of service first. Then, select a week and book a time for each person under the applicant's name in the calendar. You will be asked to provide various information. Some fields are required (*), while others are optional. You will receive a confirmation email that cannot be replied to. You will also receive a reminder email the day before the appointment. You can review your appointment by clicking the "Agenda" button.
If you need to cancel or change the appointment, log in and delete your original booking. Changes or cancellations can be made up to 24 hours before.

Each service contains important information that you should review before your appointment, including documentation requirements.

Make sure to bring all the necessary documentation when you visit the embassy. Missing documentation may require you to book a new appointment. Documentation requirements vary depending on the service. It is your responsibility to bring all the necessary documentation to the appointment.
