Until 1971, the Norwegian Ambassador to Indonesia was posted at the Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok (1950 – 1967) and later Manila (1967 – 1971). During this period, Norway was represented in Indonesia through an Honorary Consulate General in Jakarta.
Since 1971, Norway has been represented with its own Embassy in Indonesia. Today, the Embassy is located in the Menara Rajawali-Building in Mega Kuningan. The Embassy is also covering Timor-Leste and ASEAN.
