The March is an annual tradition dating back to the 1960s. It continues today as a token of Scandinavian participation and cooperation in international operations. This year’s March was dedicated to supporting Ukraine, which symbolizes the importance of long-held relationships between Norwegian allies and partners.
Also represented were Norway's fellow Nordic embassies (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Sweden). Ukrainian Ambassador Oksana Markarova offered remarks before the March began.
