The Committee met with Congressional staff and experts from local think tanks for discussions on U.S. economic policy. Topics included current developments regarding inflation, implications of the war in Ukraine, and long-term domestic challenges facing the U.S.
Another part of the Committee’s visit was centered on the global economy. The Committee visited the IMF and the World Bank for perspectives on the global outlook, with attention to inflation, economic growth, and how these institutions operate to aid member states’ financial emergencies.
