The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Singapore is a Foreign Service Mission with many and varied tasks. We cooperate closely and share office space with Innovation Norway and Norwegian Business Association Singapore (NBAS). Together, we constitute ‘Team Norway,’ working to advance and safeguard Norwegian interests in Singapore. In addition, we provide comprehensive consular services to Norwegians residing or traveling abroad.
Job description:
We are looking for a service-minded colleague who can contribute positively to our team at the Embassy in Singapore. The position will be part of the consular and administrative team. The main tasks will be handling of consular inquiries, customer service and in addition planning and managing Embassy events and projects throughout the year. Management may add additional tasks, including (but not limited to) business and cultural promotion and social media work to the position.
Qualifications:
- Must have good written and oral presentation skills in English
- Must have good knowledge of computer applications, including Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general office software
- Must be based in Singapore
- Experience with consular work is an advantage
- Experience with social media is an advantage
- Experience from public administration is an advantage
- Experience from project work is an advantage

- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as a team player
- Having solid communication and interpersonal skills

Terms and Conditions:
- Type of employment: Full-time position
- Staff recruited locally are subject to Terms and Conditions of Service according to local employment law
- Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 – 16:30
- 25 days annual holiday
- Salary according to agreement
- Commencement date: March 2, 2026 (It is also possible to agree on an alternative commencement date, including consideration for any notice period)
