About the Embassy

The new Norwegian Embassy in Riga was opened on November 11th 1991, with the Ambassador handing over his credentials to the president of Latvia that day. In September 2013 the Embassy moved to Kaļķu ielā 15. The Embassy has two seconded diplomats and a student trainee, as well as five local members of staff. The Norwegian military has its headquarters for the three Baltic states present at the Embassy.

The Embassy is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
