Vi har for tiden lengre saksbehandlingstid enn normalt innenfor etablering av farskap og søknader om norsk fødselsnummer på grunn av en økende saksmengde. Vi beklager dette, og jobber med å redusere saksbehandlingstiden. Det er ikke nødvendig å kontakte ambassaden for oppfølging, da dette tar tid fra selve saksbehandlingen, vi vil ta kontakt med søkerne direkte. Dessverre kan vi ikke svare på spørsmål om forventet saksbehandlingstid.
We currently have a longer processing time than normal within establishment of paternity and applications for Norwegian National identification numbers due to an increasing caseload. We apologize for this and are working to reduce the processing time. It is not necessary to contact the embassy for follow-up in individual cases as this takes away resources from actual case processing, and the embassy will contact applicants directly. We cannot answer questions about the expected processing time.
