Congratulating Mrs Beda on her appointment, the Norwegian Ambassador to Bhutan, HE Hans Jacob Frydenlund said, “the bilateral cooperation with Bhutan for the last several decades has been strong and comprehensive, especially in the field of energy resources. With the appointment of an Honorary Consul, we hope to make the relationship even deeper and stronger. I am certain this appointment will bring our countries closer”.

“I have not been able to visit Bhutan yet due to the pandemic. I have heard great things from my predecessors and I sincerely hope I will be able to visit in the near future”, the Ambassador added.

We are looking forward to celebrating her appointment and to open the new Consulate officially when the situation permits. We are pleased that she will be able to officiate in the meanwhile.
