Two new calls for NGOs are now open

The Active Citizens Fund in Croatia published calls for small project and for organizational support. The value of the funds is 350 000 and 420 000 EUR respectively, and applications are possible until May 2nd.

The call for small projects is opened for the second time and it is intended for projects between 6 and 12 months in duration and 5 000 and 15 000 EUR in value.

At least 50% of the total available funds shall be awarded to projects by organizations registered and working in underserved geographic areas and/or by organizations working with vulnerable groups, including Roma.

The organizational grants are the novelty in the ACF support portfolio. Its objective is to support 8 organizations with a 60 000 EUR grant each. Grant proposals must address one of the following programme areas:

  • Democracy, active citizenship, good governance and transparency,
  • Human rights and equal treatment through combating any discrimination on the grounds of racial or ethnic origin, religion or belief, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation or gender identity.
