The Norwegian soloists Truls Mørk and Vilde Frang at the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall

Last updated: 15.03.2016 // Zagreb Concert Management in cooperation with the Norwegian and Swiss Embassy are proud to present a classical evening with the critically acclaimed soloists Truls Mørk and Vilde Frang accompanied by the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra conducted by James Gaffigan at the V. Lisinski Concert Hall in Zagreb on 24 April.

The Norwegian cellist Truls Mørk has established himself as one of the most pre-eminent cellists of our time. His compelling performances, combining fierce intensity, integrity and grace have led him performing with many of the finest orchestras of Europe as well as touring the United States with the Oslo Philharmonic. Mørk will play alongside the 29-year-old Norwegian award winning Warner Classics artist, Vilde Frang, who despite here young age has become a dominant figure on the classical scene frequenting concert halls and festivals throughout the world.

The Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, Switzerland’s oldest orchestra with a repertoire encompassing both classical, romantic and contemporary work, will accompany the soloists. The orchestra will be conducted by James Gaffigan, one of Americas most predominant conductors of our day.
