OPEN CALL: Operator of our NGO programme in Croatia

We will soon make 8,5 million EUR available to help strengthen civil society in Croatia. But first, we need to recruit a local fund operator to develop and implement our Active Citizens Fund. Register for our briefing meeting and read more about the fund.

Size of the fund: 8,5 million EUR.

Implementation period: until April 2024.

Eligible applicants: consortium of non-governmental, independent organisations, legal entities of the EEA; see the full list of eligibility criteria.

The Active Citizens Fund is part of the EEA and Norway Grants in Croatia. The objective is to strengthen civil society and to empower vulnerable groups focusing on capacity building, democratic participation, active citizenship and human rights. Strengthening relations between civil society organisations in Croatia and Norway through partnership projects is also an important objective of the fund.

The Fund Operator (FO) will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Active Citizens Fund in Croatia.

Briefing meeting
We will hold an information session for interested bidders in Hotel International in Zagreb on 23 November 2018 at 9:00.

The session will be in English and will take the form of a presentation on the requirements of the FO role, followed by a Q&A. Potential bidders may also register their interest in separate one-on-one meetings on the same day.
