‒ In the course of her 12 years of service as Honorary Consul, Mrs. Frank-Jerman has worked keenly and tirelessly together with the Embassy to promote Norwegian interests in this part of Croatia. Countless Croatian mariners and their Norwegian employers depends on her services. She provides invaluable support to the thousands of Norwegian tourists who visit the country every year. Norway sincerely appreciate her outstanding efforts, H.E. Ambassador Haakon Blankenborg said in his speech.
The King awards the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit to Norwegians or foreigners abroad for outstanding service in the interests of Norway. The Order was founded in 1985, and the Insignia of the Order is the Cross of St. Olav, wrought in gold.
