How much does an emergency passport cost?
An emergency passport costs €160 and is valid for one single journey only.
Can I use my old passport if I find it again?
No. If you are issued an emergency passport, your regular old passport will be invalidated and cannot be used. If you find the old passport, you are obligated to submit it to the police or the embassy.
Once you have used the emergency passport after travel, it must be handed over to the police or border control when you return to Norway, or to the foreign station if you are abroad.
