Local Development Programme: Finding partners

The first two calls for organisations focusing on teaching and education are now published. Through the Local Development Program Norway made available 26 million EUR to facilitate even development of Croatia by strengthening primary education

The Local Development Programme is part of the EEA and Norway Grants in Croatia. Its objective is to foster economic and social cohesion in Croatia by equalising education opportunities. The programme aims to upgrade material and human resources in primary education. Particular attention is given to improving skills and competences of children and teachers and other professionals in natural sciences, ICT and entrepreneurship. Promotion of inclusive education as well as of values of active citizenship are other integral parts of the programme.

Establishing partnership between likeminded organizations from Croatia and Norway is deeply rooted in all our programmes, and Local Development is no exemption. Partnership with organisations from donor countries, including Norway, is additionally stimulated during the evaluation of proposals. To assist in identification of partners a matchmaking event was organised.

All activities in the programme are organised in partnership with Donor Programme Partner: Norwegian Agency for International Cooperation and Quality Enhancement in Higher Education (DIKU). DIKU is also tasked with facilitating contacts with Norwegian organisations.

Visit DIKU's webpages and learn how and why you should seek a Norwegian partner. Fill the relevant contact form with details about your project and areas of interest and send an inquiry to DIKU.

If you are looking for Norwegian businesses as partners check the explorer.

To identify Norwegian partners among the civil society organisations, use the search tool of Active Citizens Fund.
