2025年 ノルウェー・日本外交関係樹立120周年を祝う

1905年ノルウェーはスウェーデンとの連合を平和的に解消し独立国家となりました。これを契機に、ノルウェーは独自の主権により各国と外交関係を築くことを目指します。なかでも日本はいち早く正式に外交関係を樹立した国の一つで、その後に続く強固な二国間関係の礎が整いました。

Norway became an independent state in 1905, after peacefully ending its union with Sweden. In the wake of this newfound sovereignty, Norway sought to establish its own diplomatic presence and forge international relationships.

建物改修工事に伴い大使館は現在仮事務所（港区芝公園）に移転しています。工事期間は約2年（2023-2025）を予定しています。Due to the renovation of the premises, the Norwegian Embassy for a period of approximately 2 years, 2023-2025, is relocated to Shibakoen in Minato-ku.

ノルウェーの大型帆船スターツロードレムクル号が、世界一周航海「ワン・オーシャン・エクスぺデション」を終え本国ベルゲンに帰港しました。
