Fisheries agreement reached

Norway and the UK have reached a bilateral fisheries agreement for 2024. The agreement highlights our close partnership and continued commitment to manage fisheries sustainably.

The agreement sets conditions for access and exchange of fishing quotas for both parties for 2024.

The agreement follows the trilateral agreement between Norway, the UK and the EU earlier this month, which established the total allowable catch for the jointly managed fisheries stocks in the North Sea for 2024.
