If you have been expelled from Norway, but you nevertheless wish to travel here, you can apply to have the prohibition against entry lifted.
You can read more at UDIs website.
Requirements for lifting of a prohibition against entry
There must be new circumstances in your case.
You must have a special reason for wanting to travel to Norway, for example that you are going to give evidence in court, attend a funeral or visit a seriously ill family member.
When can you apply?
Normally, it must be at least two years since you left Norway.
How to apply
Print out the checklist and gather the necessary documents
From UDIs website you can get a personalized checklist, by filling in some information about yourself. The documents must be in Norwegian or English. If you submit documents in other languages, you must enclose a translation by an authorized translator.
Fill in your application
Please note that there is no application form for this on the Application portal. You therefore have to fill out the paper application form and book an appointment at Visa Application Centre (VFS).
Hand in the application and documents in person
When handing in your documents on the checklist, please go to one our Visa Applications Centres. Please be aware that you will have to pay the VFS Service Fee.
You can hand in more than one application at the same time
