Talvesild Norrasse on Tartu 2024 Kultuuripealinna programmis 14. veebruaril aset leidev üritus, mis kulmineerub kl 19 Räpinas toimuva kontserdi ja piduliku õhtusöögiga. Põhiliselt Norrale puitmaju valmistava OÜ Hobbiton tootmishall muutub jazziklubiks, kus lavale astuvad Norra pianist Espen Berg, Eesti laulja Maria Väli ning Armeenia kontrabassimängija Ara Yaralyan. Toidusilla ehitab Pesa Catering, miksides Eesti ja Norra köökide isikupärased küljed uueks kogemuseks. Talvesild Norrasse - Tartu 2024

Norwegian Embassy moves to Tartu
On February 14 at 12:00-14:00 a pop-up Norwegian Embassy will open its doors at the Tartu Town Hall Square. We will introduce the Bodø 2024 programme – the Norwegian city that also holds the title of the European Capital of Culture in 2024 together with Tartu. We will offer traditional Norwegian waffles with brown cheese and visitors will have a chance to win awards at a quiz.
Winter Bridge to Norway on February 14 is an event in the Tartu 2024 Capital of Culture programme, which will culminate at 19:00 in Räpina with a concert and a festive dinner. The production hall of Hobbiton OÜ, which produces mainly wooden houses to Norway, will turn into a jazz club. Norwegian pianist Espen Berg will step onto the stage together with an Estonian singer Maria Väli and an Armenian double bass player Ara Yaralyan. A food bridge will be created by Pesa Catering with mixing Estonian and Norwegian cusines into a unique experience. Talvesild Norrasse - Tartu 2024
In 2024 three cities will be European Capitals of Culture – Tartu, Bodø in Northern-Norway and Bad Ischl in Austria. Just like the whole of South-Eastern Estonia is engaged into the Tartu 2024 programme, in Norway the whole of the Nordland county around the city of Bodø will have events in the culture capital programme. The colourful sami heritage of this region is reflected in programme of the culture capital as well as at the grand opening, which encompasses the Sami National Day on February 6.
Bodø 2024 and Tartu 2024 have been good friends and colleagues already for six years since the start of the application for the European Capitals of Culture status. In addition to visiting each other and exchanging experiences, a number of joint Norwegian-Estonian events can be found in the programme of Tartu 2024.
Our special gratitude for the cooperation to
