Norway and Estonia share a commitment to democracy, innovation, and international cooperation. As members of NATO and close partners in Europe, we work together to promote security and prosperity in our region. Our countries also cooperate closely through the Nordic-Baltic framework, where we address common challenges and seize new opportunities in areas such as security, technology, and trade.
My experiences in the Norwegian Foreign Service have reinforced my belief that strong partnerships and international cooperation are essential in addressing the challenges of our time. Estonia’s leadership in digitalization, innovation, and resilience makes it an especially valuable partner for Norway.
The security environment in Europe has changed significantly in recent years. Norway and Estonia stand united in contributing to a safer and more resilient region. Our close cooperation within NATO and our support for Ukraine demonstrate the importance of working together in uncertain times. At the Embassy, we are dedicated to strengthening the ties between our two countries.
