Stortings- og sametingsvalget 2025

Valgdagen for stortings- og sametingsvalget er fastsatt til mandag 8. september 2025. Hvis du oppholder deg i utlandet, kan du forhåndsstemme fra 1. juli og senest fredag 29. august.

Det er mulig å forhåndsstemme ved den norske ambassaden i Beograd eller ved våre honorære konsulat i Podgorica eller Skopje. Du kan kontakte ambassaden per e-post emb.belgrade@mfa.no eller på telefon +381 11 320 8000

Ambassaden i Beograd imot forhåndsstemmer i våre ordinære åpningstider mellom kl. 10 – 13.00 i perioden fra 14. juli til 29. august.

Det er nødvendig å bestille time for å forhåndsstemme.

Hvem kan stemme?

Du har stemmerett ved stortingsvalget dersom du

  • er norsk statsborger
  • har fylt 18 år innen utgangen av 2025
  • er, eller har vært, registrert i folkeregisteret som bosatt i Norge

Dersom du har bodd i utlandet i mer enn 10 år er det ikke lenger krav til søknad om innføring i manntallet. Når stemmen din blir mottatt i kommunen du sist var folkeregistrert som bosatt i, vil du bli innført i manntallet.

Du trenger kun legitimasjon når du skal stemme. Minstekrav til legitimasjon er at det inneholder navn, fødselsdato og bilde.

Parliamentary and Sámi Parliamentary Election 2025

The 2025 Parliamentary and Sami Parliamentary Election will be held on Monday 8th September. If you are residing abroad on election day, you can vote in advance between Tuesday 1st July and Friday 29th August 29th.

You can vote in advance at the Norwegian embassy in Belgrade or at honorary consulates in Podgorica and Skoplje. You can contact the embassy directly by email emb.belgrade@mfa.no or phone number +381 11 320 8000.

The Norwegian embassy in Belgrade are open for voting in advance during our regular opening hours 10-13.00h in the period 14 July to 29. August.

It is necessary/not necessary to book an appointment in advance to be able to vote.

Who can vote?

You have the right to vote in the 2025 Parliamentary election if you are

  • a Norwegian citizen
  • 18 years old or older by the end of 2025
  • are or have been registered as a resident in Norway

If you have been residing abroad for 10 years or more, you no longer have to apply to re-register in the National Population Register. When your vote is approved by the municipality you were last registered as residing in, they will register you in the National Population Register at the same time.

You must have a valid ID to vote. Your ID must specify your name, date of birth, and display a photo of you.

Voting by mail

Voters abroad who are unable to get to a polling station can vote by mail. You can order official voting materials from the embassy in Belgrade by (e-mail) emb.belgrade@mfa.no  or (telephone) +381 11 320 8000.

Voters who vote by mail are personally responsible for making sure they send their vote early enough for it to arrive in the correct municipality in Norway by 17:00 on Tuesday 9th September.

Voting at the Sámi Parliament Election

The Sámi Parliament Election is held at the same time as the parliamentary election.

Every Sámi that is registered in the Sámi Parliamentary Election Register by midnight 30th June, has the right to vote at the Sami Parliament Election.
