Storting and Sami parliamentary elections

Voters who live or are staying abroad may vote in advance from Norwegian embassies and foreign diplomatic stations, or from other appointed returning officers.

Voting rights

All Norwegian citizens who have turned 18 or will turn 18 by the end of the election year, have the right to vote if they are, or have been, registered as residents in Norway. The right to vote in the Sámi parliamentary election is granted to those who are registered in the Sámi electoral register. Identification

In order to vote, we need to know who you are. Therefore, you must show us identification. You can read more about identification at https://www.valg.no/en/for-voters/parliamentary-election-2025/identification/

How to contact us

You can vote in advance at the Embassy in Riyadh or at our Consulates General in Jeddah and Muscat, Oman.

The embassy and consulates in Saudi Arabia and Oman are open to receive voters during the period:
