Netherlands to reopen further with coronavirus entry passes
As of 25 September, we no longer have to stay 1.5 metres from others. This is a big step forwards. It means restaurants and bars can open to maximum capacity, and all events will again be allowed.

Entry restrictions will be gradually lifted
In ‘A normal everyday life with increased emergency preparedness’, the Norwegian Government will remove entry restrictions in three phases. Phase 1 will begin on Saturday 25 September at 4 pm.

Adjustment travel advise
As of June 10 the Dutch Ministry of Health no longer considers the whole of Norway a high risk area. This means people will no longer have to test before returning to the Netherlands, nor quarantine upon return when travelling from Norway.
Mandatory quarantine for travellers to the Netherlands from very high-risk areas (requirement to stay at home or in your accommodation)
From 1 June 2021 you must quarantine if you travel/return to the Netherlands after staying in certain countries. This requirement also applies even if you have been vaccinated.
Changes to the Norwegian quarantine hotel programme and easing of entry restrictions
The distinction between necessary and unnecessary travel is removed for entry into Norway so that travellers from the UK and countries in the EEA/Schengen area with a low rate of infection do not have to stay at a quarantine hotel.
Reopening for residence/work permit applications at the Embassy as of 25 May.
As of Tuesday 25th of May, The Norwegian Embassy in The Hague will accept applications for residence and/or work permits. In order to respect the present Covid-19 guidelines, you will need to book your appointment through the UDI Application portal.
Safe countries with a low COVID-19 risk
A safe country is a country where the risk of contracting COVID-19 is low. If you live in a safe country, you may travel to the Netherlands. The EU travel ban does not apply to you.
