Spring 2017: New trainees at the Norwegian Mission to the UN

New spring, new interns. Welcome to all five of them! Here is an introduction regarding their work at the Norwegian Mission to the UN.

The five new trainees have arrived from various places in Norway and from a broad specter of academic backgrounds. They are excited to substitute their university campuses with the halls of the UN headquarters and discuss issues that they previously have only encountered in a classroom setting.

Johannes Sandberg, 26, from Hamarøy, completed his Master's degree in International politics at Long Island University as well as a bachelor's degree in political science at University of Agder and will be working with issues related to Peace and Security.

Synne Marie Berge, 26, from Førde, is currently a law student at the University of Oslo and will be working with Legal Issues.

Ida Helene Andersen, 22, from Skjeberg, is a Master's student in journalism at the University of Oslo and will be working as a Press and Communications Attaché.

Jenny Hovland Johanson, 23, from Halden, finished her Bachelor in Geography from London School of Economics. She will be working with International and Sustainable Development.

Jan Lunaas, 24 from Tynset, is a cadet at the Norwegian Military Academy and will be working with issues related to Peacekeeping Operations.
