Fall 2016: New trainees at the Norwegian Mission to the UN

The fall is soon upon us and with fall comes new interns at the Mission. This is what they will be working with in the coming months.

The five new trainees have arrived from various places in Norway and from a broad specter of academic backgrounds. They are excited to substitute their university campuses with the halls of the UN headquarters and discuss issues that they previously have only encountered in a classroom setting.

Heidi Stubbs Holdal, 24, from Oslo, finished her Bachelor in International Studies with a double major in Spanish and International Relations at the University of Queensland in Australia and the Universidad Pontificia Comillas ICAI-ICADE in Madrid, Spain. She will be working with International and Sustainable Development.

Haakon Fossum Sagbakken, 23, from Oslo, completed his Bachelor's degree in political science at Brown University in Providence and will be working with issues related to Peace and Security.
