Honorary Consulate in Mongolia

Honorary Consuls are appointed by the Norwegian government, but are usually citizens of the host country. As the title suggests, the consuls do not receive salaries from Norwegian authorities, but they have expressed their willingness to represent Norway in their region on a voluntary basis. Their main task is to promote Norwegian interests and Sino-Norwegian cooperation in their region.

The Honorary Consulate in Mongolia can receive emergency passport applications. Applicants must submit the application in person. All emergency passport applications will be forwarded to the Embassy in Beijing for processing. Adults and children must submit applications for ordinary passport to the Consulate Generals in Guangzhou or Shanghai or to the Embassy in Beijing.
