Elections in Norway 2021: Vote in Advance
On 13 September this year parliamentary and Sami parliamentary elections will be held in Norway. Voters staying abroad may cast their vote between 1 July and 3 September.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is advising against all travel to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Iraq and has tightened entry restrictions for travelers arriving from these countries to Norway.

To limit importing the Coronavirus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (UD) tightened the travel rules on all international travel that is not strictly necessary.
Stricter entry rules to enter Norway
From 12 midnight, Friday 29 January 2021, only foreign nationals who reside in Norway will be permitted to enter.
Stricter rules for testing and quarantine
From Monday 25 January, people travelling to Norway must present a negative SARS-CoV-2 test prior to arrival. The test must be taken no more than 24 hours prior to departure instead of 72 hours.
Mandatory testing at the Norwegian border
From Monday 18 January, all people entering Norway must take a COVID-19 test at the point of crossing the border
From Monday 21 December, all people entering Norway must register themselves as a step in improving infection control.
