Main Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Management of Consular and Administrative Files
The Protocol and Consular Advisor is responsible for the thorough handling of consular files, with proven ability to manage sensitive situations. This responsibility includes issuing official documents, closely monitoring emergency situations, and managing administrative files of a confidential nature. The position holder must demonstrate absolute rigor, analytical skills, and strict adherence to institutional procedures and the confidentiality inherent to the information processed. - Coordination and Organization of Protocol Events and Activities
The position holder is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing the logistics of protocol events, such as official receptions, delegation visits, and diplomatic ceremonies. This mission involves coordinated management of multiple stakeholders, supervision of strict protocols, and anticipation of specific needs inherent to each event. Additionally, they must maintain liaison with Moroccan authorities and institutional partners, ensuring perfect compliance with protocol practices. - Management of Official Correspondence and Reception of High-Level Visitors
The Protocol and Consular Advisor is responsible for managing official correspondence, both incoming and outgoing, in accordance with current diplomatic standards and procedures. They ensure the drafting and transmission of precise, confidential information, while guaranteeing the traceability and security of exchanges. - Support to the Diplomatic Team: Agenda Management, Travel Preparation, Strategic Monitoring
As part of their support functions, the Advisor manages diplomats’ agendas and prepares the logistical and administrative aspects of their official trips. The position requires organizational skills, anticipation of constraints and opportunities, and continuous adaptation of priorities according to emergencies.
Other tasks
The Ambassador may, according to the needs of the Embassy, modify the tasks.
Profile and Job Requirements
- University degree (minimum Bac+5) in international relations, law, political science, or equivalent;
- Significant professional experience (at least five years) within an embassy, international organization, or public institution;
- Perfect command of French and English, both spoken and written; knowledge of Norwegian is a distinct advantage;
- Excellent writing skills, strong analytical sense, and ability to work under high pressure;
- Absolute discretion, professional rigor;
- Proficiency in IT tools and modern administrative management systems;
- Availability and ability to adapt to a multicultural and demanding environment.
