‘Toda una nación está de luto’
He recibido con profunda tristeza la noticia del fallecimiento de Su Majestad el Rey Harald V.
Toda la nación está de luto y, a la vez, siente un profundo agradecimiento por una larga vida al servicio de Noruega.
Durante más de tres décadas de reinado, Harald V demostró una fe inquebrantable en el pueblo noruego. Nos ayudó a ver lo mejor de nosotros mismos y de nuestros conciudadanos.
El Rey Harald supo encontrar las palabras que nos mantuvieron unidos cuando más las necesitábamos. Compartió nuestro dolor tras los atentados del 22 de julio de 2011. Celebró con nosotros los éxitos de los deportistas noruegos. Y nos guio con calidez, sabiduría y apertura, hacia una sociedad en la que todos tienen cabida.
El Rey Harald sentía un profundo amor por Noruega. Y Noruega sentía un profundo amor por su Rey.
“Mis pensamientos y mi más sentido pésame están con la Reina y con toda la Familia Real en estos difíciles momentos”, declaró el primer ministro Jonas Gahr Støre al conocer la noticia del fallecimiento del Rey Harald V.
El Rey Harald V nació el 21 de febrero de 1937. Falleció a la edad de 89 años.
El Gobierno se reunirá en breve en la Oficina del Primer Ministro y, posteriormente, se reunirá con el nuevo Rey en una convocatoria extraordinaria del Consejo de Estado en el Palacio Real.

– Det er med dyp sorg jeg har mottatt budskapet om at Hans Majestet Kong Harald V er død.
En hel nasjon sørger, og står samtidig igjen i sterk takknemlighet for et langt liv viet til Norge.
Gjennom mer enn tre tiår som konge viste Harald V en urokkelig tro på det norske folk. Han hjalp oss til å se det beste i oss selv – og i hverandre.
Kong Harald fant ordene som bandt oss sammen når det betød som mest. Han sørget med oss etter 22. juli 2011. Han jublet med oss når norske utøvere nådde de største høyder. Og han gikk foran med varme, klokskap og åpenhet for et samfunn med plass til alle. Kong Harald elsket Norge. Og Norge elsket sin konge.
Min dypeste medfølelse går til dronning Sonja og hele kongefamilien i denne tunge stunden. Det sier statsminister Jonas Gahr Støre ved Hans Majestet Kong Harald Vs bortgang.
Kong Harald V var født 21. februar 1937. Han ble 89 år gammel.
Regjeringen samles om kort tid til regjeringskonferanse på Statsministerens kontor og vil deretter møte den nye kongen til ekstraordinært statsråd på Slottet.

‘It is with great sorrow that I received the news that His Majesty King Harald V has died.
A whole nation is in mourning and the people of Norway are left with a deep sense of gratitude for a long life in the service of Norway.
For more than three decades as monarch, Harald V demonstrated an unwavering faith in the Norwegian people. He helped us to see the best in ourselves – and in one another.
King Harald found the words to bind us together when we needed them the most. He grieved with us after the attacks 22 July 2011. He cheered with us when Norwegian athletes excelled. And he guided us, with warmth, wisdom and openness, towards a society with a place for everyone. King Harald had a profound love for Norway. And Norway had a profound love for King Harald.
My thoughts and deepest sympathy are with the Queen and the entire Royal Family at this difficult time,’ said Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre on learning of the death of King Harald V.
King Harald V was born on 21 February 1937. He died at the age of 89.
The Government will be convening soon for a government conference at the Office of the Prime Minister, and after that an extraordinary meeting of the Council of State will be held at the Royal Palace with the new King.
