Nominate a hero for this year’s Nansen Award

Do you know someone who has gone to extraordinary efforts in their work for refugees, internally displaced persons or stateless people? Nominate them for the Nansen Award before 20 February 2022!

Established in 1954, the Nansen Award honours individuals, groups and organizations who go above and beyond the call of duty to protect refugees, as well as displaced and stateless people.

Every year, UNHCR searches for a person or an organisation with exceptional dedication and commitment in supporting people who are refugees, internally displaced or stateless. That person or group wins the Nansen Award.

The nomination period for the 2022 UNHCR Nansen Refugee Award is now open.

Where do I share my Nansen nomination? See related links in four different languages.

Remember to nominate before the deadline 20 February 2022.
