As the cost of disasters increases, investing in prevention will be key. Prevention saves lives – and money.
“For Norway, this work is about acting early, investing smart, and making sure our efforts are inclusive and locally based,” said Deputy Minister Håheim. “Prevention isn’t just the right thing to do. It’s the smart thing to do. Disaster risk reduction is an investment in the future."
