Today has been another horrific day for people in Ukraine.
We think it is important that the Security Council meets to confront Russia on the need to stop this terrible war. These deliberate attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure is leading to horrific destruction and civilian suffering.
This has left millions of people without electricity, without water, going into the cold winter.
We will today, as we have done every single meeting on this in the Security Council - a very important platform - tell the Russians and the rest of the world:
This war needs to stop.
