About the Embassy

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Accra, Ghana handles the diplomatic relations between Norway and The Gambia, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Liberia and Sierra Leone. Norway is represented by honorary consulates in Abidjan, Monrovia, Freetown, Conakry and Banjul.

During 2024 it will be established an Embassy in Dakar which will be accredited to Mauretania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Chad. There are honorary consulates in Nouakchott, Ouagadougou and N’Djamena. The Embassy in Accra is handling all consular matters regarding applications for Norwegian passport and personal number in all the above-mentioned countries and will continue to do so also after the Embassy in Dakar has been established.
