The main duties are:
- Communications work on the Norwegian Nansen Program in Ukraine
- Press contact / media liaison officer
- Contribute to further developing the Embassy’s communications plan
- Participate in information sharing meetings
- Regularly reporting on the Nansen Program for publication on official websites, in mainstream media and social media
- Develop and implement social media plan in liaison with MFA Oslo
- Participate in field visits and document cooperation between Ukraine and Norway, including in documentary/news style short films/clips
- To liaise with relevant partners to ensure collective promotional activities (visuals) on the Nansen Program
- To undertake additional duties as required, commensurate with the level of role
Please note that the Ambassador may change the employee’s responsibilities in line with changes in the embassy’s priorities.
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Ukrainian citizen
- Good knowledge of English
Desirable requirements/skills:
- Bachelor or master grade is desired, but relevant work experience may compensate
- Previous knowledge and experience within media
- Videographer/cameraman/documentary filmmaking experience required
- Experience from working abroad and/or in international organizations or embassies will be an advantage
