Norway would like to thank Angola for its positive engagement in the UPR-process, as well as for our bilateral cooperation and dialogue on this important matter.
We commend Angola for creating an inter-ministerial committee to consider partnership of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), as a concrete follow-up to our recommendation in November.
In the UPR-process Norway also gave recommendations relevant to the freedom of the press, the working environment for civil society and the fight against child mortality.
We are looking forward to continuing our fruitful cooperation in the follow-up to specific recommendations as well as to the UPR-process in general.
