Airlines

Visas

Irish citizens do not need a visa to enter Norway. This applies to all EU/EEA passport holders. Others may need a visa, please check the Embassy's visa information for details on how to proceed if you need one. Be advised that visas are issued by the Danish Embassy.

Passports

For EU/EEA citizens, there are no requirements for a certain validity of passport. This means it is sufficient that the passport is valid on the day of the return journey. The new Irish Passport Card is valid as a travel document for entering Norway.

Voltage of the power supply in Norway

The electricity supply in Norway is 220 V, but appliances up to 240 V will work. Plugs have two round pins, and adapters are available.
