Our processing of personal data
The Mission of Norway to the EU processes personal data of all journalists who contact us. These personal data are name and contact information, associated newsroom and the content of the inquiry. Personal data are stored in relation to a case.
If a journalist has been in contact with us in regards to several cases, there will be several log entries.
You have a right to ask that your personal data are not processed by the Mission. This can be pointed out in your next inquiry to the Mission or by email to info.eudel@mfa.no.
Basis for the lawful processing of the personal data of journalists is legitimate interest, pursuant to GDPR art. 6. It is necessary for the Mission to process the personal data of journalists in order to fullfill a task which is in the public interest.
