Agreement title: FAO Sudan Smallholders and Agro-pastoralists Value Chain Support in the Face of Climate Change in Sudan

Agreement partner: Food and Agricultural Organisation of the United Nations (FAO)

Overall Objective: Smallholder farmers, agro-pastoralists, pastoralists are more resilient, more productive, more efficient, more profitable using watershed ecosystem management approaches in the face of climate change.

Objectives: Support through the Sumoud project aims to improve community resilience through increased access to basic services and food security of select communities in the Republic of the Sudan

United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) - Protection of Conflict-Affected Children in Sudan

Agreement title: Protection of conflict affected children in Sudan

Agreement partner: UNICEF - United Nations Children's Fund

Objectives: To Scale up the Monitoring and Reporting Mechanisms (MRM) on grave child rights violations and strengthen mechanisms to prevent and respond to the needs of survivors.

Expected results:

Timely, reliable and verified information on trends and patterns of grave child rights violations is analysed and used as evidence for advocacy and prevention initiatives targeting state and non-state parties to the conflict.

Conflict-affected children particularly survivors/victims of grave child violation, receive community-based child protection services.

UN Population Fund (UNFPA) - Humanitarian and Life-saving Activities in Sudan

Agreement title: Humanitarian and Life-saving Activities in Sudan

Objectives: The project aims to:

improve access to and availability of lifesaving health services to the most vulnerable populations in Sudan,
promote gender equality to ensure women and girls have access to sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and gender-based violence (GBV) protection services
improve the Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) including for persons with disabilities, and the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), leaving no one behind in humanitarian settings

Objectives: Women’s rights in conflict with the law are promoted and protected and an all-inclusive efficient response to GBV is established.
