About the Embassy

The Norwegian Embassy is centrally located in Maputo, on Avenida Julius Nyerere. The bilateral relationship between Norway and Mozambique dates back to 1977, when development cooperation started and an official Norwegian presence was established. Norway and Mozambique have, through 40 years of cooperation, become close partners in a range of areas.
