Mr. Chair,
Norway condemns the holding of so-called elections in certain areas of Eastern Ukraine. These “elections” are totally illegitimate, contrary to the spirit and letters of the Minsk agreements and will not contribute to a peaceful solution of the conflict.
We again encourage all parties to the conflict to fulfil their obligations according to the Minsk agreements and reiterate our strong support to Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
