Information meeting for press on the Oath of Allegiance Ceremony

Members of the media are invited to an information meeting at 11:00am on Monday August 31 regarding the Oath of Allegiance ceremony in the Storting on the following day.

His Majesty King Haakon VIII will take the oath to uphold the Constitution, in the Storting Chamber on Tuesday 1 September at 13:00. In connection with this, the Storting will provide practical information to the media the day before.

Updated: In addition, the Royal Household will provide information on media access and arrangements for covering the public file past King Harald’s coffin in the Palace Chapel.

Representatives of the Oslo Police District will also be present to answer questions.
