Development Cooperation

Development cooperation priorities:

Norway’s development cooperation priorities in the Western Balkans focus on supporting democratic governance, rule of law, and strong, transparent institutions, as these are essential for the region’s Euro-Atlantic integration. Norway also emphasizes peace and security, minority rights, and regional cooperation. In Bosnia and Herzegovina specifically, Norway prioritizes security, rule of law and democracy, gender equality and free media.
