Norwegian development cooperation in Angola through the Embassy is limited. Current projects focus on capacity building in the area of human rights, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, and capacity building of researchers and academics in various fields at three of the country’s universities: Universidade Católica, Universidade Agostinho Neto, and Universidade Jean Piaget.The Embassy also supports a project to improve sexual and reproductive health and rights for women and girls, in cooperation with the Angola office of United Nations Population Fund.
