Norwegian development cooperation in Angola through the Embassy is limited. Current projects focus on capacity building in the area of human rights, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, and capacity building of researchers and academics in various fields at three of the country’s universities: Universidade Católica, Universidade Agostinho Neto, and Universidade Jean Piaget.
The Embassy has also been supporting an energy project in collaboration with Angola’s Ministry of Energy and Water, but this project is drawing to an end.
