Norway aligns with the statement made by the European Union, but I would like to make a short additional statement in my national capacity.
Norway has supported Ukraine throughout the Russian war of aggression and will continue to do so for as long as required. Norway strongly stresses the right of Ukraine to a just peace based on the UN Charter and international law, in respect of its international recognised borders and including the right to choose appropriate security arrangements and membership in international organisations. To achieve this, Ukrainian participation and broad European involvement in any peace process is paramount.
