Voting rights
All Norwegian citizens who have turned 18 or will turn 18 by the end of the election year, have the right to vote if they are, or have been, registered as residents in Norway. The right to vote in the Sámi parliamentary election is granted to those who are registered in the Sámi electoral register. Identification
In order to vote, we need to know who you are. Therefore, you must show us identification. You can read more about identification at https://www.valg.no/en/for-voters/parliamentary-election-2025/identification/
How to contact us
The embassy in Beirut is open to receive voters during the period:
11 July to 28 August
To vote, we ask you to book an appointment by sending an email to emb.beirut@mfa.no
You will receive a response from us within 2 days.
Voting by mail
If you are unable to visit, you can order official election materials by contacting us via email emb.beirut@mfa.no You can use this equipment to send your vote by mail from your location. Remember to order in good time. Your vote must be received by the municipality in Norway no later than 17:00 on Tuesday 9 September.
