Royal Norwegian Embassy in Sarajevo

Norway has had an embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1996, but diplomatic relations were established in 1993. The Norwegian Embassy is located in the same building as the Swedish Embassy, along the pedestrian street Ferhadija in the heart of Sarajevo. The Embassy has a staff of 16 people, including two diplomats and a defence attaché.

The Embassy premises are accessible to the public by appointment only. 

Telephone inquiries: 09:00 to 12:00 and 12:30 to 14:00, Monday to Friday.

The main tasks and functions of the Embassy involve analysing political and economic developments in Bosnia and Herzegovina; promoting Norwegian interests and values, and good bilateral relations; providing consular services to Norwegian citizens, and assisting Norwegian companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
