Norway will contribute with NOK 7.5 mill to help procure urgent medical equipment and material trough UNDP on behalf of the two entities and Brcko District. Among others, the list includes lifesaving equipment, such as testing kits for Covid-19, ventilators /respirators, as well as protective equipment to help safeguard the medical professionals.
Norway has also launched global initiative to create a new UN multi-donor trust fund to assist countries in need in responding to the crisis and mitigating its socio-economic impacts.
