Team Norway in Japan is an informal structure including Norwegian bodies and institutions working to promote Norwegian interests in Japan.
Joint objectives include:
- Connect businesses with potential partners, institutions and government
- Provide information relevant for businesses, including overview of most relevant sectors and markets
- Host and facilitate science events (connect research, higher education and business, building thematic national teams)
- Host targeted business events
- Organise business activities during official visits
- Follow up contact with Japanese potential partners and institutions
- Provide details on local regulations, business conditions, etc.
- Facilitate communication with decision-makers and local authorities
- Promote relevant activities and events on social media
- Inform about investments and opportunities in Norway – in cooperation with Invest in Norway
- Answer general inquiries regarding trade regulations etc. in Norway
- Supply information about Norway as a tourist destination
